This state-of-the-art, 9,000m2 warehouse boasts cutting-edge picking and storage systems, optimising productivity, efficiency, and space utilisation. Complementing this, the 2,285m2 office space offers dedicated retailer training facilities, an on-site restaurant, flexible collaborative workspaces, and a fully-equipped technical workshop, reinforcing STIHL’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

In collaboration with Swisslog and various suppliers, Hills Electrical Group successfully executed the electrical design and installation for an innovative AutoStore modular order fulfilment system.
AutoStore, a pioneering and user-friendly solution, harnesses the power of robots and bins to expedite the processing of small parts orders. Its unparalleled design allows for efficient space utilisation by enabling direct bin stacking and accommodating multiple SKUs within a single bin.
The culmination of Hills Electrical Group’s efforts resulted in the successful delivery of this cutting-edge solution, accomplished both on schedule and within the allocated budget, with a remarkable efficiency of only 60 man-days of effort. This achievement reflects the seamless collaboration between all parties involved in this transformative project.
The newly implemented AutoStore system, with its innovative robotic technology and space-efficient bin design, has not only met the immediate needs of our client but has also been future-proofed for scalability. This forward-thinking approach includes the integration of additional steelwork, paving the way for the construction of a second AutoStore system directly atop the existing one.
